Card and currency conversion charges from the payment provider are passed through without markup.
Before you start
Who do I sign the contract with?
The development contract is between you and the developer. JPS168 signs a separate matching agreement with each side and is appointed to collect and release milestone payments.
Is JPS168 a licensed escrow company?
No. We are a talent matching service and payment collection agent. Milestone funds are held separately from our operating account under the rules in our Terms — not as a licensed bank escrow product.
Can I hire as an individual, not a company?
Yes. Individuals only need a name, email and country. Companies can add a business name and tax ID so invoices are issued correctly.
What happens if I am not happy with the work?
Request a revision within the 7-day review window. If the issue cannot be resolved, the held milestone amount is refunded to you after mediation.
Which currencies can I pay in?
We typically collect in USD, AUD, EUR, GBP or KRW. Developer payouts are in Philippine pesos (PHP). Conversion charges from the payment provider are passed through at cost.
Can the developer work in my time zone?
The Philippines is UTC+8 — the same as Singapore and one hour behind Seoul and Tokyo. For US and European clients we agree a fixed overlap window in the contract.
Is JPS168 a registered business?
Yes. JPS168 Information Technology Solutions is registered with the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry under Business Name No. 8602338.
